The cosmos reminded me of your eyes.

I looked at your eyes
So full of stars
And I knew that each time
I looked at the sky
I couldn’t see the galaxy
But only the lies
You fed to me slowly
Bite by bite
Each time inciting
My fear of the night
Where each comet set ablaze
