ON FINDING AN OLD SCHOOL REPORT

I found
a school report
from 1994,
where the teacher

has said
that I worked
well that year
& made good

progress
all round.
I also seemed
to have had

a positive attitude
towards school.
Next year,
she says,

she hopes
I will continue
to grow
in confidence

& begin
to overcome
my shyness
with members

of staff.
Shy?
I prefer
the term

conversational
minimalist!
