YOU CAME FOR MY BROTHER.A Poem by Terry CollettOLE'S YOUNGER BROTHER, NATHANIEL, EXPRESSES HOW HE FEELS ABOUT HIS BROTHER'S SUDDEN DEATH IN JANUARY 2014.![]() You came for my brother aged just 29, just 29. You didn't give a reason, you didn't give a sign. You came for my brother, a true good friend of mine. I can' believe he's gone now; it feels like such a crime. You didn't say you're sorry for not giving us more time. Our brother Ole shone bright just like the sun; he brought joy to us all, to each and everyone. Even now hereafter when we recall his infamous laughter, the smile he would grin, the battle of wits he'd win. So caring and kind such a beautiful mind. Though I don't know where or even when, I do know brother that we will meet again. Written by my son Nathaniel Collett. © 2014 Terry Collett |
