His Life Is One I Wish To Explore( by Nathaniel Collett)A Poem by Terry CollettOn the loss of a brother(Ole)![]() His life is one I wish to explore So take me back to nineteen eighty four. Take me back to September 0 eight His birth date. Take me back in time. Take me back to the start When you could feel the beating of his tiny heart. Take me back in time Take me back to when he breathed his first breath. Take me back to when you heard his first cries. To when he first opened those tiny eyes. Take me back to when he wrapped his fingers around yours, Take me back to his first trip outdoors Take me back to when he first saw the skies, To when he first saw all the birds. Take me back to when he spoke his first words. Take me back to the first nights He was in his own bed and slept. Take me back in time to when he took his first step. Take me back to the day When he first let go of your hand and ran away. Take me back to when you had to chase him. Take me back to when he first fell down And you had to pick him up and embrace him.
