FULL MOON 1973

FULL MOON 1973

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

MAN AND WOMAN IN 1973

"

Mahler's 1st
symphony
Miss Pinkie

puts it on
her Hi-fi
brings me scotch

and herself
and we sit
on her couch

the white one
cool leather
and she says

what you think
here or bed?
The scotch warms

Mahler soothes
me within
where you like

I reply
she sips scotch
her blue eyes

gaze at me
her fingers
unbutton

trouser flies
by instinct
stirring up

my fellow
from slumber
it's good scotch

I tell her
sipping more
sensing her

fingers there
what about
on the floor?

I ask her
on that rug
Mahler plays

unaware
slow music
scotch all gone

if  you want
Miss Pinkie
says to me

she prepares
undresses
as do I

and I note
looking up
a full moon

in the sky.
