LEG KISSING 1959

LEG KISSING 1959

A Poem by Terry Collett
"

A BOY AND GIRL IN A NURSING HOME IN 1959 AND LEG KISSING TO MAKE BETTER.

"

Do you know
Skinny Kid
Anne said

I still feel
and wiggle
my lost toes

on the leg
that I lost
they were on

the green lawn
after lunch
she sitting

in her shiny
black wheelchair
he sitting

beside her
on a stool
how is that?

he asked her
looking at
her leg stump

(she had pulled
up her dress)
nerve endings

they tell me
she replied
can I touch?

he asked her
getting fresh
Skinny Kid?

can't believe
that a 10
year old kid

wants to touch
my leg stump
Anne said

go on then
just joking
Skinny Kid

touched her stump
with fingers
it was warm

very soft
does it hurt?
he asked her

only if
I laugh Kid
she replied

jokingly
seriously?
he asked her

fecking hurts
a lot Kid
but the nuns

don't think so
but they don't
know jack s**t

about it
or about
a man's dick

Skinny Kid
took away
his fingers

kiss it Kid
go kiss it
better now

better not
just in case
the sisters

are looking
he replied
feck the nuns

kiss it Kid
so he did
lips to skin

gentle touch
thank you Kid
Anne said

very much.
