Juliet and Unknown

Juliet and Unknown

A Poem by Terry Collett

Would lay flowers
if I knew where
she lay.

Some piece of earth
covers her remains
I suppose
but do not know.

In summer
I see her eyes
in sun's warmth.

In bird's song
I hear her voice
or faintly so.

In flowers' brief beauty
I sense her being
remembering
not seeing.

She died
her brother said
those years ago
but where she lay
I do not know.

Romeo,
I have about three Juliettes I wish I knew where to visit... Girls I loved living, why not dead?
