Memories of a Love.A Poem by Terry CollettThe pond is still there calm in the afternoon heat. We sat here once gazing across the water's skin dragonflies hoovering ducks swimming. Other ducks swim there now dragonflies hoovering still but you have gone and the place is not the same. We sat and talked maybe now and then a quick kiss or hug feeling summer's warmth and sounds of birds in trees and around and above. But you no more just memories of a love.
