Remembering JulietA Poem by Terry CollettYou are no more, I have you only in memories. Outside the rain pours, Philip Glass is playing on the hifi. I remember you and I walking back home from the pond, rain dampening us, your hair hanged in dampness, your eyes alive and smiling. Wet hands holding. Outside the lawn is empty of birds. Branches of trees bend with wetness. Here and now. I can by remembering you bring you back temporarily somehow.
