Knocked Doors Moscow 1937.

Knocked Doors Moscow 1937.

A Poem by Terry Collett

They knocked on doors last night
those from the Ministry
but didn't knock on mine;
neighbors were taken away
in the dead of night
or early hours
but none knocked on ours.
Tomorrow night
they may come again
and knock on doors
those from the Ministry;
whose door
will they knock on this time?
Will it be yours
or mine?
