Of a Curious Cat

Lol.. Just a cute little rhyme. Came up with it on the spot! It makes me think of the anthropomorphic Beatrix Potter characters. :) God, I miss those days!

A curious cat and his lovely wife

they walked along one day

to find a hole inside the ground

but much to their dismay,

the hole was far too deep to see

the bottom of it all

So down they went,

and to end this chat

curiosity surely killed the cat!

Oh my goodness, that was adorable! I loved the little poem and how you took an old saying and transformed it into something that is something I could still tell my 1-year-old daughter and have a moral to it and all. :3 I am not sure that was your intention, but if it was: Congrats!
