Socially BlindA Story by ThaliaA young girl is sociopathic and finds herself doing things that other people find abnormal. She doesn't know what to make of it at first but she eventually learns about her condition.I can't believe that this is what it all comes to. I'm on my knees in the pouring rain. This isn't what I expected of myself. I don't know what to do. I had mud all over my knees from the ground. In my hands I held my brother. "Kel, wake up." I smiled and brushed his hair back on his face. He wasn't asleep though. That's the strange part. Well, Okay. I guess it isn't that strange since I killed him. "I love you." I laughed as I looked at him one last time. I lay him down soft in the mud and walked away. I didn't know where to walk. I really do love him. I still do. I hope he loves me. I decided to go back inside since Momma was cooking. I was kind of hungry anyway. "Hey, Willow where's your broth-" She paused as she looked at me, "Willow! Why are you so muddy? Is it raining out there? Get your brother inside now!" She shook her head in disapproval as if I wasn't an 8 year old girl and that I should know better. "I can't get him, Momma." She sighed. "I'll do it myself then, but if your food burns, it burns." She stormed out on to the porch. I followed her out to the porch as a natural instinct. She spotted Kel in the mud out by the barn. "Kel, get your butt inside!" She screamed. After he didn't show any signs of movement or noise she looked at me in confusion. "He's not asleep, Momma." I told her, "I killed him."
