Outrageously brilliant

Adorned in feather boas

Vibrant hues of orange,

salmon, yellow and gold

Against the backdrop of

a gazillion greens

Swaying seductively

Electrifying in the

Cool September breeze

Birthed by angels breath

Shimmering frantically

Against one another

Exciting, tantalizing, titillating

Knowing

Primed

To shed their finery

In anticipation of glorious

White winter
