Last Day Alone.

A soldier writes a poem about his last day alone in a war.

Last Day Alone, oh how I long to be at home;

Forever in the war, never to be far;

There's ways to die, but I ask why;

Loud roars and many dead, never look to far ahead;

Nowhere to go after, all the men and their laughter;

Enemies all around, but sickness is too bound.
