Pierces the boundary that keeps inside

The emptiness of a hollow life.

 

Pulsing

Through the humid air

Pulsing

Through my shattered mind

The music permeates everywhere

With the rhythm of our existence:

 

Time sliced

Beat by beat

Brings together

In seamless lines

Club lights flicker in their dance

With hot bodies that synchronize.

 

I can see it

In your face

As I glance

Into your eyes

That feel the motions bearing down

From the rhythm that controls our lives.

 

Shifting between

what is real:

Outside world or

The music’s shade;

Black light on white shapes
But no words for the colors in my mind.

My favourite part was the ending here. Very well written

This makes me think of a person slightly drunk in a club dancing away their troubles and hoping to brighten their spirits.

Almost reminds me of an Usher song of somekind since he always has songs about dancing and love and clubbing. But I enjoyed this piece and thought the flow and imagery was perfect. Nicely done.
