None(the)LessA Poem by DaveHRakkarA poem on being sad and alone, seeking for love and compassion but the words spoken are left unheard. In dreams, I stand, a silent scream, A cry for help, a broken dream, My voice is lost, a hollow sound, Like echoes trapped, they can’t be found. I reach for someone, just one touch, To heal the wounds, to feel so much, But words, they falter, trapped inside, A desperate need I cannot hide. So close to choosing dark despair, When no one’s there, no one to care, The weight of loneliness I bear, A burden too much, too hard to share. A shadow’s whisper, “You’re not enough,” And in its grip, the world feels rough, I crave the warmth of love’s embrace, Yet find no solace, no safe place. But still I dream, I try to scream, To find a way, to make it seem That I am worthy, I am real, That love is something I can feel. But silence answers, cold and clear, As if no one can truly hear. And in that quiet, I fall apart, Still searching for someone to start To mend the broken, healing art. © 2025 DaveHRakkarFeatured Review
