Without your light, the world would be a canvas of gray,
A chilling void where warmth and joy fade away.
Your presence is a flame, igniting hope in the dark,
A guiding star that inspires, a vibrant, glowing spark.
In the shadows, you bring forth the dawn's gentle embrace,
And in your warmth, we find solace, a sacred, loving space.
Thank you for being you, a treasure so rare,
The world is infinitely brighter because you are there.

Sad and retained along with memories that cry when nobody's looking. Your words capture a significant time in life and so well, not too many words but enough to write, read, regret but perhaps, remember a few moments of happiness you might never had. Better that than nothing.. perhaps.
