Mama's Palm wine Tree

Mama's Palm wine Tree

A Poem by Rubein Geterminah
"

Mother to child's love There's a bond that exists between mothers and their children when they are still in the blanket of care.

"
Mama's Palm wine Tree
Was full of mysyeeion, which for free
I drank to quench my thirst
Aft its primal purpose
To fill my stomach on focus.

Mama's Palm wine Tree
Drops derailed my grieves
And less I forget my experience
It gave me much confidence
A lesson in her eyes I did read.

Now I have eaten of the tree
Of good & evil, loaded by grief
I lo on them but no wine; no wine! very flat
They are, when in those arms
I got on the back a pat.

Suckling infants look to their mommies when nursing or breastfeeding.
And they find much confidence in doing so.
Poem took shape after I observed my son breastfeeding.
