I'm just trying to make a way.
I'm trying to find the right words to say.
The right things to do before I walk away.
Walk away from what's brought me all this way.
I'm trying not to be selfish to my fate.
I'm trying to diminish the hate.
I'm trying to clean my plate.
I'm trying to find my space.
These days have been passing me by.
Trying to make a way for me in a God forsaken place.
Time playing against me instead of with me.
Trying to keep my sanity from ever reaching vanity.
Trying to maintain my grind and sustain my mind.
I'm trying, but we know it all takes time.
