I Can Love You

I wrote this piece as I was becoming a freshmen in high school with lonely thoughts of love in my head.

I can't give you the moon but I can draw you one.

I can't sing you a song but I can make you one.

I can't make all your troubles go away but I can help you get through them.

I can't make you a superstar but I can make you laugh.

I can't see why you allow them to beat you up but I can make you smile again.
