Thoughts on DeathA Poem by SiblingWhat I think of the inevitability that awaits and whatever...
Grim fate appears distant
In healthy days; But sickness sways about. Danger dances to a deadly rhythm The Swan Song nears The Storm of Life lures Drought. Feared by men of bravery, Revered by cadres of courage, An eerie air surrounds it. A paling coldness prevails In the Dark Cloud that reigns In the sky of Existence, We know not what lies Beyond its villainous veil. Dastardly Death: B*****d fostered by Life. Ironic Death that costs us living Leads us to Life... Living eternity awaits; Patiently but its virtue wanes. Passed the threshold of this plane Lies the unknown PEACE. The treachery of life Lets us live in disbelief. My birth into Death Shall be the death of my life. My death into LIFE. FOREVER. © 2014 SiblingAuthor's Note
