Haven't seen your love

Haven't seen your love

A Poem by Jazz Newport Green

I have seen many things
I have seen days darker than night
I have seen stars that don't shine so bright
I have seen the power of God above
But what I haven't seen is your love

I have seen those now living, die
I have seen those with all the answers ask 'why?'
I have seen children be bored with life itself
I have seen some choose to hate
I seen why some choose to kill
I have seen those with passion lose all sense of will
I have seen the darkness
I have seen the light
I have seen all impossibilities come true
But what I haven't seen is any love from you

I have seen clouds on sunny days
I have seen stars fall
I have seen life
I have seen death
I have black doves
I have courage turn easily into fright
I have seen the day become as dark as night
I have seen many things, many dreams of mine have come true
I have seen new things and old things but some things I can't comprehend,
for example:
Why I have never seen love from you
