An Ocean Of Love

Well?..

Deafening silence.. Fills her mind..

Dreams and illusions... Shadow reality..

Beautiful bird.. Wounded heart...

Yearning.. To fly again...

An ocean of love... Found and lost..

Thirsty.. For just one drop..

Wings clipped.. Legs chained..

And a home that lies.. Oceans apart...

Fighting against Time.. Against life..

While they tease and test.. Her heart..

Chilling winds...  Destructive storms..

She braves them all.. With a smile...

Mad hope... Blinds my eyes...

As I try in vain.. With my soul and heart...

My delusional mind.. Walks the path..

Still denying.. That it's lost...

Confused, it wanders.. Embracing insanity..

As I walk a fine line... Between reality and sanity...

This is beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is change "it's" in line 16, to "it is". This just makes the poem flow a little nicer for me :) This is such a sad poem but so wonderfully written that I can't help but like it. If this is about you, I'm sorry that you have to feel this way. It gets easier! :)

It runs through our Veins

I am Thirsty

I feel Troubled
Like a Storm on the Sea

Only gets Worse With
My Minds Curiosity

I Sit and Tremble
Lost to my Fear

I Stumble
ON a Hand in the Street

I gain Hope
As I feel you draw Near

In the Darkness
It's there Myself I Meet

My Indecision
I always thought my Friend

Thought My Answers
Would always come from my Light

But I Friend Darkness
When I thought it was the End

Clouds of Confusion

I think you capture perfectly the feeling in words, of that final and ultimate pain that is the heaviness of the heart that has been given and discarded. The hollowness of all sound, sights and pleasure, distorted by the bitter taste of bile that is unceasing and remorseless in breaking us further and tearing any and all dreams apart, filling our world with a haze that distorts even reality. Wonderfully captured.
