Help! Numero Tres

 So I have been having a hugnormous amount of writer's block with my new book! It's awful. I know what I want to happen in the end, and there are a few parts that I also know that I want to happen, but getting to them is like torture. I have no idea what to even write anymore. Everything I write just seems so blah and unexciting. So, I wanted you guys to tell me how you get over writer's block. Do you ave different strategies? Do you read a certain something or listen to something that inspires you?

okay, this is exactly the same thing happening with me... I was stuck on Chapter 4! Do you know what I did? Add a sudden change to the story-line. Any new idea that pops into your head, just.. write it! My book is here on Cafe. It's titled 'Past Mysteries'. Try reading it, you'll see how I've changed everything n Ch - 4

I read this somewhere and have tried it ever since... when you are writing hot and heavy--stop. Leave your work in mid-sentence. Then when you return the next day, the propulsion is waiting to leap forward --the action is stirring--the emotions are aroused--your novel is sitting there waiting for you to press the keys and release it on its journey.
If you failed to do this, you could go write a poem. Something really off the wall. Or maybe write a poem to one of your characters.

I've had major writer's block with my book for three weeks now, so I just moved on to another one. I just keep writing and writing despite the block and eventually I find some sort of inspiration for SOMETHING and I go with it, even if it's not what I want to be working on at the time. Everything's a process.

Lydia... Same thing is happening here... I also need help with my book I know what to write but just can't put it in words... I am so stressed and annoyed at it... I will publish my book but for now I need to make some changes to chapter.
My mind is blocked at the moment but I will try and help as much as I can. :)
