Not Proud

I've always tried to live up to your expectations,

I've always tried to make you proud,

I answered all your questions,

But still you kicked me to the ground,

I was only standing up for myself,

I only did what I thought was right,

It was always me taking care of my own self,

You never let me out of your sight.

this is exactly how i feel my family are always like be more like him....stuff like that I am the only one who gets told that :l i will be myself and not live up to there expectatios! great write;)
