Lies

Lies

A Poem by Lydia

Don't think about it anymore

There's no point in dwelling on it

They're the ones who walked out the door

If they cared they would've kept their promise

It's not like you to overthink things

This has really took a toll on you

They've caused a drastic change

The lies overpowered the truth.

Such truth in those 8 lines! You have penned the poem very well.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, in fact read it twice because I loved it:)
