FarewellA Poem by TheMaladyJust some random thoughts that drifted in my mind.Soft thumbs, Whispers of the mind. The airy, throaty kind of speeches, They all drift by like ghosts. Sidelong glances, Grim lines on my lips; The heart frets, As streams of old thoughts flashes by. Silver tears, Stifled cries; Squint and brushed away, My mistake, just leave it be. Rueful grins, Half-hearted farewells; A faint smile across his face, Too late - he shan't be back.
