She Says She's Unherd

She Says She's Unherd

A Poem by Edward

She says she's unheard,
But I hear her every word.

She changes to impress,
But I loved her in her little black dress.

She has scars along her wrist,
A stupid mistake hidden by mist.

She says she's fat,
Well clearly her and I have to chat.

She says she has no friends,
Well clearly she needs to clean her lens.

I sat down with her today
But I couldent figure out what to say.

I guess I will have to wait for tomorrow,
To tell you what's filled me up with sorrow.

I told you I would wait for another day,
But it seems I have to tell you today.

All the things you say are untrue,
For the only thing I have to say is

I love you.

Oh my freaking gosh, Arkun! I think this is the most beautiful poem I've read in awhile. This is your first poem? Wow, I don't remembering writing my first poem with such beauty. What I had gathered from this poem is that you clearly love the girl for who she is but she can't seem to see that. She's too focused on how she looks and how she can impress someone. When you're a real true man, and is sitting there patiently waiting to tell her that she can stay herself since that's how you love her anyways. Your words flow beautifullly with such bliss. You catch your audience's attention, whether male or female, until the very last words. You keep your readers anticipated on what might come next in your amazing poetic words. I love to read romantic, even if it's cheesy. I'm that type of girl that believes in 11:11 and that wishes do come true. That there's a Prince Charming for every girl. This poem reminds me of my boyfriend since he always tries to convince me into thinking I'm the most beautiful and so special. He likes me for who I am more than anything! Splendid job, Arkun. I'm definitely adding this poem into my library! :)

"I told you I would wait for another day,
But it seems I have to tell you today.

All the things you say are untrue,
For the only thing I have to say is

I love you." --The best part of it all! :)

The only mistakes that I noticed were really minor. Though if you mind me pointing them out. First, in the title I think you meant "She Says She's *Unheard".
The fourth and fifth stanzas both have the words "Well" starting off in the second sentences. It sounds forced that way. Last, in the sixth stanza it should be

*But I couldn't figure out what to say."

You're welcome :)
Well Arkun, my friend were shall I begin? First off, whoever this poem is about, then they're pretty lucky without even realizing it. This is beautifully written for your first poem...I remember my first poem aha. Anyway, it has great raw emotions, and was carefully constructed into a work of literature art. C'est magnifique. There's some french for ya (I probably got that wrong..)
You clearly poured your feelings into this, and pouring your feelings into your writing comes out with an amazing poem and/or story.
Awesome job
