The Terrible Feeling We Know As Heartbreak

Heartbreak is the most horrid feeling,
It really prevents people from healing.

It's like losing your favourite teddy bear,
Your trying to end it all off with a prayer.

It's like losing the best person you could have ever known,
Then there is just empty ground where it had all grown.

Sometimes people try to remake what was there,
But they find that its too hard for them to bare.

They will often ask " what could I have done to keep it?"
Or "Why was I hit?"

To my friends who suffer this dreadful feeling,
It could be many more nights where you just stare at the ceiling.

But just wait, don't run after love,
You must wait, it will give you a shove.

Just keep waiting, don't lose hope,
Love will be there somewhere along the rope.
