My favorite poem, and its also by my better half, Autumn Hooper.

abSOULution

I'm searching for answers on a never ending road.

Drinking from the waters and explaining the taste.

As I keep walking, I see a crowd.

I run to tell them the taste,

but my mouth is sown shut.

I cry,
as I hear them
laugh at my actions of silence.

I keep walking, 
while kicking invisible rocks.

I see another crowd.

 
I spin my tale of this water, 

these rocks, 

and as they look around, 
they try to find the creature making the noise they hear.

I continue to cry, 
as my story is still yet to be told.

I see a lone boy 
sitting at the tasteless pond.

 
He had been skipping 
the invisible rocks I had kicked.

I sit beside him.

He grabs my face.

He kisses me as my story is told..

In one complete action.

We look into each other's eyes, 
and cry as we smile.

We are no longer alone.
