Heavenly Sorrow

On lonely, rainy days like these

I sit on my porch and look out

watching the raindrops falling

wishing you were here with me.

I wanna dance in the pouring rain

drenched with the tears of heaven

with a smile as big as the moon

dancing out in the rain with you.

No longer would you see my pain

the rain would mask the tears

but I sit here alone and dry

letting the tears trail down my face.
