Prettiest girl in ensemble

The difference between soothesayer and story teller is in the tense.
The difference between best friend and in love in in the tension
and I'm not trying to send to the wrong message or get in too deep
but sometimes I think those eyes are too deep not to get into.
I'm also not trying to write you a love song, but silly me if these symphonies
don't keep entering my head when you're with me.
Of course you're probably just another merry melody
which leads to to melancholy, which my tender intentions tend to.
But truth be told I'm already sold to the lady in the second row
who's second hand sunshines always right on time to give me a brighter day.
and some may say my star lit sentiments
are dim bulbs that just got a little to into it.
But at least I know you get it
So I guess I'm a screw up with a screw loose, who stared at the sun too long
the only time I was wrong about you, you can bet
is when I said "prettiest" I meant "ever met".

This is a very sweet write Manwithaplan, it needs tidying up a little, edit wise, but I loved the title, I really enjoyed the tone and sentiment and the final line was a clinker.
