Paris in youA Poem by DIVYAThere’s a Paris in you, bones of a city, finely bred. Laid by fevered souls. There's Rodin in your jaw, Your limbs, sleek Hausmann lines Like Paris, you ache to be seen, felt, smelt and sipped like dusk along the Seine. Conjuring such emotion, poetry loosening at your seams, oozing from polished stone. And the deeper I go beneath the art and intellect the more I marvel at the aching human beneath- smudged softly in parts yet so warm and heady to touch. There's a Paris in you, the Louvre impossible to know in a single lifetime. And that's why I rejoice to find myself once more in the Paris in you. © 2025 DIVYAAuthor's Note
