It stays and settles in deep,
where no one sees.

I asked him again.
He gave me rain.
Sunlight feels good,
he said, but then it fades

A very meaningful and powerful poem! This reminds me of being put coffee in front of you when you're thirsty and want water. They didn't give what i needed, but something heavier and more expensive... as if it were a substitute for love, lasts... It's a very well thought out poem. I liked it very much.

This reminds me of Robert Creeley if he were writing from a female point of view.
I love conversational poetry...
