This poem is really beautiful. I love how you show imagination as something alive and full of power. The pictures you create with your words feel real, like I can see and feel them. The ending is strong and meaningful. It really shows how imagination can break limits and bring new worlds to life. Thanks for sharing this!
Incredible writing that I’ve added to my personal library. I “imagine” I will read it again and again. Thank you for sharing.

You as well! Always a pleasure to read your writing
Happy Wednesday

What a wonderful bit of whimsy that speaks to every poet and writer of imaginative literature. Wouldn't it be wonderful if some writer of something that required NO imagination, like say, an automotive article describing a car's performance was suddenly struck by the "Imagination Gremlin" and sent his text sailing into a world of whimsy or (heaven forbid!) erotica! Boy, I would bet that sales would increase tenfold!
Imagination is what keeps us alive, our pulse racing, our minds flitting from one ridiculous limerick to a stunning treatise on the origin of the moon. We can't live without it and we must trust it to carry us forward on our journey as writers or we die.
Your journey here, on this page, is a delight, with so many wonderful images that made me laugh, puzzle over and just enjoy with your brilliance and unbridled wit. Thanks for the ride!

The difference between oblivion and immortality. Imaginative people were writing epics in cuneiform script on clay tablets in ancient Mesopotamia and 24,000 verses in Mahabharata in 3rd century BC. They are as alive today as they were then. They may have been simply hyper-imaginative or on some mushrooms but they did it.
Thank you so much for such a great review! Its so motivating when something we've tussled with in our minds is appreciated when brought out in some form on the paper. :)
It has been a long time since I have seen a single poem with as many splendid images and metaphors as this one. We all know imagination can be powerful, but here the poet dreams of possibilities most of us have never considered. If ever there was a cheering section for imagination, this is it!
In observing your perfectly befitting artwork choices for this creatively amazing piece (dream 'em up / sweep 'em away), I couldn't help smiling and thinking, "Now, who could possibly be any greater choice to pen a poem titled 'Imagination' than Divya?" 🤔
Metaphor that's almost ambiguous in complexity … to a bard's mind as simple as my own … offers just the right amount of challenge to hold onto its interest from 1st to final word; it's just amazing how you do it, and from where such concepts are derived … ohhh-BOY!
Endless muscle-flexings of imaginative creativity blend ever-so seamlessly into a poetess' and poet's dancing ink to elucidate and breath life into literally any notion their minds, hearts, and souls might conceive:
"Your imagination is a muscle,
stretching possibility,
Mind abducted from its cage,"
No one's I appreciate, respect, am gobsmacked by, appreciate and enjoy any more than I do yours, Dear Divya.
"Imagination," that is … and, all else! ⁓ Richard✍

For recognizing an humbled olde bard, and for paying homage to all of us worldwide, grateful poetesses' and poets' infinite creative imaginations … past, present, and future.
How jubilant I am, too, in knowing my modest words have brought you a semblance of that which yours always gift me.
Bless your gracious, ever-thoughtful, self! ⁓ Richard 🌾
I do so love the whimsy of your words... and have always loved how abstract thoughts paint vivid colors into us. I also love how you celebrate the imagination. It is the magic that kept me alive through years of suicidal depression... the ability to dream of myself in better worlds... a brighter life. It is a muscle that as poets we must awaken... we must allow it to lift us. Thank you for sharing.
