ImaginationA Poem by DIVYAYou've got to have it.Your imagination is a muscle, stretching possibility, Mind abducted from its cage, sent spinning through The galaxies that you forge of azure gods and umbrous knaves. Your imagination is a muscle in a sprinter's legs, light's arrows outpaced. A coiling, uncoiling snake, in a bristling Hydra head, Epics to birth, myths to shape. Your imagination is a muscle pulsing in a ballerina’s feet, arched high on impossibility’s lake. A muscle loosened like a kite on the wind. Oft clenched as a comet before it flares. A pianist’s fingers, leaping from octave to lilting octave. Till a universe blinks awake. Your imagination is a muscle, flexed in a boxer’s fists, punching holes in reality, letting dreams flood me in waves.
