Your work is always real and raw, and this is no exception. I see alot of things when I read this poem, but the first thing that comes to mind is . . . well, this website! Opinions are divided on if the site will survive the end of the year, but it cant be denied that there has been more downtime than its been up. I feel so many of us are optimistic in wanting it to survive that we're continuing to breathe life into it, but I suppose its debatable if thats a good thing.
I also see this applying to relationships -- ones that have been dead for so long, we may not notice we're carrying corpses in vain. It begs to die, but we just wont let it. I see alot of my relationship with my mother in this -- its oozing and decayed, but I guess I just cant bring myself to see it that way.
Regardless of what image you had in your mind when you created this, I am thankful it was there, because this piece is raw, honest, and eloquent. Im so thankful for the share.

I never thought this site would revive, but it did. And I agree with you about this site being like that cadaver we keep willing back to life. That's because its the only one of its kind.
Also, relationships. How often we keep flogging dead horses that we should have long abandoned and made our journeys easier.
My most heartfelt thanks for such a beautiful review. I appreciate your kind presence and thoughtful friendship!

Always, darling friend! I am so thankful to be able to read your work in peace once more!!!
Dear DIVYA, a very suitable poem for the month of October and spooky Halloween will soon arrive. Packed with decaying stink and slime imagery. Lovely. Haven’t had breakfast yet. Such strong metaphors here. My mind travelled to many places. You do gore exceptionally well. I do hope you put some more of your work on here soon. You are missed. Sending love across the pond.
The Frankenstein's have revived the corpse, and it shall now chase them to the end of the Earth.....or through cyberspace, at least. Cadavers should always be left alone to rot and decompose in peace, but some just can't allow it to happen. Especially when whole livelihoods depend on its continued existence.
"of the noise, the clutter, the obscene chatter
and mindless matters...." A perfect line that sums up the history of this website. Such mindlessness has existed here!

A mindless place indeed. I get my fixes here. Thank you so much for your visit, dear JM. I hope we get to stick around this zombie site.
