Once in a Blue MoonA Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen
Once in a blue moon, as the saying goes
You'll meet someone who comes along The tune changed by the note See you turned me round, when I was spinning In the wrong direction with no indication Set the record straight Hit play See you're the song I wanna be singing for a long, long time Tonight I sit here, waitin', wishin' Cause you are on my mind I'm no perfect record, a little ruined, ragged, dusty Skip and shake a bit too much but listen to the needle's lesson Listen, I promise, pen you this... the lyrics you've given me I'll sing heartily I'll try and give and amplify For the one who comes along Once in a blue moon
