HeyA Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen
Hey,
If I could write you a letter, I'd be letting you know a little something. See I'd start by commending your generous heart and how it knows patience, persistence and kindness. Commendable how little trouble it is to you to absorb the bad and battle through, beat the blues and sing the tunes. See, I'm not simple. I know life can get hard and laborious but this world belongs to the curious - curious like you, you creative thing. The joys you bring as you tell me of your next pursuit, my girl. Making turtles to tell your boy that you're thinking about him; see he's in a shell, solitary in some moments and your gift broke through. How thoughtful. You're painting glass, peanut butter, lass... how you make me laugh. This letter is late in outlining why I wait and why it's no bother, b- baby. Because all that you are, is all I could want - and I don't say this to frighten you. From the day that we met I've been feeling blessed, because you're beautiful, sweet and fun - the fundamentals of you always reach through - and you're such a young blossom to bloom.
