Vaughan

A Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen
"

Dedicated to my dad

"
God, give me the strength to be my father's son
Let me speak his words and say his truths; let
me wear his smile for the world In his humility,
humour and kindness, he resides in the hearts of
everyone he met A firm belief in decency and
honesty, these things his legacy; I would trade it
for no sum, for no possession - nothing on Earth
and nothing in Heaven

For my guiding star
