Unseen Kingdoms 2

Unseen Kingdoms 2

A Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen
"

"Hey, you, yes you! Stranger! Gimme a ready, if you fancy!" :)

"
The mind longs for the certainty of words,
yet my heart quite fancies an unsaid abstraction
Kind of covets, if you will, fanciful distraction
I take in cups of ambiguity, but please choose not
to pity me

For in my drunken stupor, yes I slur, but
there's something more real, dormant here
Something in the wavey whisp of dizzy beer's
most potent kiss

The world gives way to soft duvets,
in which I journey most my days
by medium of dream
to the better place
