ontheshore POEMA Chapter by Thomas Emile VaughenA poem, part of the anthology The 2nd Burden
Somehow, I feel soluble
The impermanence of boundaries I whisper this to the smooth entrance stone Glad of the existence of others within me Glad that, perhaps, someone will carry that shard That element A refuge of blood and bone; no finer place to dwell Human always home for summoning, across the seas a wind rustling through the trees we go sometimes with the sentries Kafka - remember me
