Just Gone Quiet

Just Gone Quiet

A Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen
"

A poem dedicated to those that worry they've lost the beauty in themselves, or what was beautiful about themselves

"
I ain't got a patch on you
The thoughts in your mind are
the captivating Koi of the pond,
lit like flaming jewels Ethereal
geisha fins ghoulishly moving
through God's water

Me, on the other hand...
I'm the abandoned arcade
of the seaside town where
I grew up Neon, not even
flickering The smell of stale
piss percolating in the ball
pit All that noise

Just Gone Quiet
