Finally Here

Finally Here

A Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen

The smallest room, the loudest heart
Together in one sentiment
Together in the dark
Hands that hold so fondly
Hopes have grown together
In tenderest kiss, winter's mist,
no cold amidst these blankets
But love so strong, not brittle, not wrong
as Heaven's harp sings a melody
Keeping each other for company
Love, it's finally here
