Aroma-Non-Grata

Aroma-Non-Grata

A Poem by Thomas Emile Vaughen

I'm good at sitting in it.
I am a suet dumpling in
depression stew. I have
befriended sad little
carrots. Cut to pieces
and placed in here
to simmer for dinner.
The cabbage cradles
its knees, served with
broccoli and peas.

I am a suet dumpling
in depression stew.
