A song dedicated to Peter Steele. My pathetic attempt at a short in memoriam.

Taken from us to soon,

That April afternoon.

 

Peter you're dead again,

This life will not regain,

A loss that we can't bear,

The end of a sweet affair.

 

A dark arcane genius,

Came along to free us,

Such an abrupt depart,

Tearing whole worlds apart.

So sad. When I lost my brother I remember repeating those lines, "Where have you gone?" But I guess, loss is something no one will fully understand but something everyone just has to except. I love your emotion in this piece. Sad poem but great poem! :)
