All I Need Is OneA Poem by Thorne EmpireI don’t need a hundred, just one to ride with, Quality, not quantity, that's what I'm all about. They smile in your face, but I can see the lie, When it hits the fan, watch them all slip by.
I’ve been down in the dirt, seen the real and fake, One true friend, the rest just bait. They’ll act like they care, but they'll leave when it's rough, One’s worth a hundred, but the rest ain't enough.
I don’t need a hundred who don’t know my name, I need that one soul who feels my pain. Real ones don’t flex, they just hold you down, Through the storms, through the battles, they stick around.
One’s enough, f**k the fake crew, I’d rather bleed alone than be chained to you. They come and go, fade out of sight, One real friend, the rest just parasites.
You think you got the numbers, you think you got the power, But when it's time to fight, they’ll bail out. They’ll smile when it’s easy, disappear when it's tough, One real friend’s worth more than ten fake clowns.
One’s enough, f**k the fake crew, I’d rather bleed alone than be chained to you. They come and go, fade out of sight, One real friend, the rest just parasites.
You can keep your circle, your likes, and your fame, I’m good with the one who never cheats at games. In a world full of noise, they're the silence I trust, One true friend, that's all I need, it’s a must. © 2025 Thorne Empire |
