Cowards Rule The World

Cowards Rule The World

A Poem by Thorne Empire

Cowards rule the world these days,
With coward rules and coward ways.
No guts to stand, no spine to fight,
Just pointing fingers left and right.

To rise today, just dodge the blame,
Cast your fears in someone’s name,
No heroes here, just worn out rats,
In this race where honor decays.

Cowards rule the world,
With empty words, they pull us down.
To win today, just play the game;
Blame and complain, it’s all the same.

It’s survival of the un-fittest,
Where the loudest lies get ahead.
No honor left, no truth to find,
Just echoes of a coward’s mind.

Customs built on shaky ground,
Truth gets lost, it won't be found again.
Shields of blame, walls of complaint,
A kingdom ruled by weak men.

Cowards rule the world,
With empty words, they pull us down.
To win today, just play the game;
Blame and complain, it’s all the same.

No hope remains, no light to find,
Just cowards ruling, deaf and blind.
They will fall one day, replaced in time,
By newer cowards, same design.

And in the silence, truth decays;
Welcome to the end of days.
