Glass WallsA Poem by NoenameI stand behind thick glass walls Watching how fast time crawls My heart beats slower with every long breath My heart beats slow, but not to death
My fingers draw cold More cold as I get old The tips fade blue, But there's nothing I can do
I'm locked behind thick glass walls Watching the truth as he crawls He reaches the glass and taps at my form He does so again but I feel no more warm
