A Poem for Love

I believe in happy endings

When all the hearts of the world,
Seek poetry at tragic ends,
Its just my persistent believer soul,
That still confides in your love.

The sparkling sunbeams whisper to me,
The open secret of life
Just like a new day
Love will always be there.

When the birds sing
And when the flute plays
The magical melody assures
There is more to life.

So mundane moments turn magical
when a rainbow graces the sky
And I let my brave heart dream on
Dreams of poetic Happy Endings.
